Help raise money for the Portland Shriners Hospital this Halloween!
Volunteer at a fun Halloween-themed running event on October 23rd and earn a donation for the Shriners Hospital! The
Portland Shriners Hospital is partnering with Terrapin Events, a local running event company that organizes fun, themed
running events through the year. They partner with nonprofits to recruit volunteers, and share some of their profits to
support the community.
The Run Like Hell event, a 5K and 10K road race through downtown Portland, will need a lot of volunteer support, handing
out water, working at runner check-in, and staffing the after party in Pioneer Square. The Hospital is working to recruit
between 75 and 100 volunteers ages 16 and up. For every volunteer, the Hospital will receive a $20 donation. On top of
that, every volunteer is eligible to receive a free entry into any of Terrapin’s other 5K runs! Get a group of coworkers,
family or friends to volunteer together!
